Theological Training online
"Know Him More" [Theology 101] is the first of several classes designed for beginners in theology. You will be trained in the core beliefs of the Christian faith, starting with the basic understanding of how God exists, and moving toward the nature of His existence, of His Word, and of the Trinity. You'll leave able to articulate and defend those beliefs!
Theology 101 includes these units:
* Prolegomena (Introduction)
(what is a god, and how does a god exist)
* Bibliology
(how we got the Bible, how it was transmitted, and much more)
* Doctrine of God
(the nature of God like omniscience, omnipotence, and much more)
* The Trinity
(how God exists as both 1 and 3)
This is a 10-week class of 1.25 to 1.5 hour classes.
More classes are being developed now, to give you a complete course in essential Christian doctrine. Theology 102 and 103 coming soon!

Why Study Theology?
I firmly believe that there is a dire need for more and deeper theological training
For others:
1 Peter 3:15 says “in your hearts set Christ apart as Lord, and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess. Do this with courtesy and respect"
Our faith goes beyond feelings. We should be able to explain and reason out our beliefs to others, so that they can find the Lord and get to Paradise. This pleases God.

After my original entrance into the world of theology, I discovered something unexpected: I was growing closer to God—trusting Him more, becoming less anxious…
I titled this class “Know Him More” because I want others to have this; to be able to rest in their knowledge of the goodness and power of God, and to share with others the reason for their faith.

Your instructor
Your instructor will be Dave Brown. Dave holds a Bachelor's degree in Bible and a Master's degree in Christian Apologetics.
He has been studying and teaching the Bible for decades, and focused his graduate studies on logic and doctrine. He has 30+ years of teaching on the topic.
